AMS

The standard perspective for hosting a web site is "whatever’s cheapest." This "hosting plan" is, in reality, no plan at all. Rather, the site is produced and placed on a server for the world to access. It sits there – unmarketed, unmaintained, unreviewed – and the hosting company gladly collects a check each month for their "hard work." SiteHOST

Desert Bloom Productions does NOT offer the cheapest hosting solutions on the planet. In fact, Desert Bloom does not offer a single, stand-alone hosting solution at all. Rather, siteHOST is packaged with a robust solution called AMS (Administration, Maintenance, & Serving). What if Desert Bloom DID offer a pure hosting solution? Would it then be the cheapest on the planet? Absolutely not.

A major aspect of the AMS Package is siteUPDATE. Many clients wish to be able to update their web site – or parts of their web site – independently. Others have a technician or a team who know how to code changes into their web site. However, many simply do not want to spend the money up front to build updating automation into the site, or would rather that professional webmasters make the changes on their behalf. In fact, it has been Desert Bloom’s experience that even those organizations that have technical pelple on their payroll often need Desert Bloom to update their web site in some way.

Each client is different. Some may only need four hours of maintenance each quarter. Others need several hours every month. Therefore, Desert Bloom consults with each client to understand their unique needs and tailor siteUPDATE and AMS to meet those expectations.

siteSTAT

An integral part of any hosting plan should be statistics reporting. However, with most hosting companies, you would be lucky to be able to access an online representation of any aspect of how users access your web site. Through our partnership with WebTrends, Desert Bloom offers you in-depth site analysis.
